What’s been happening:

After practicing landscape architecture in NYC for 7 years and 1 year in Philadelphia, I started selling nursery stock (trees & shrubs) in 1980. In 1982 RP Tuthill & Associates was established, selling for growers in various parts of the country to garden centers and landscape companies in the greater NY-Philadelphia area. My wife, Marji Thompson Tuthill, is a 1972 graduate and my daughter, Christy Taylor Tuthill Todd, is a 2001 graduate. My son, Royal P. Tuthill, III is a Lafayette College graduate-2003. We live in Washington Crossing, PA-very close to where both of us grew up-and recently purchased a small house in Sag Harbor, NY, which partially serves as my Long Island office and partially as a get away place. I was playing volleyball & tennis until a hip replacement in 2000 ended that. Then I began biking for exercise until a bad fall and 10 days in the hospital suggested I should try something less risky-like joining a gym (frankly not as much fun). Our main interests are traveling, good food, an occasional cocktail and getting together with friends. Friends are welcome. If you'll be in the area (either one), please call.
